Commitment
Below you will find some rules and recommendations that will help you manage the programme.
The programme
Cultural offer: every activity and every time slot
When you put your cultural offer together, it is important to include every show in your regular programme. People in vulnerable situations must also be able to enjoy quality culture.
The tickets you make available to Apropa Cultura should represent 2% of the total.
Museums will offer a wide range of visits and workshops adapted to the needs of every group.
Publish your programme in advance
Social entities need time to look through the shows and activities on offer.
Apropa Cultura will remind you of the deadlines for publishing your programme on the website.
A variety of time slots
We encourage you to include shows, visits and workshops at every time you have available, school hours included. Many social centres are only free during that slot.
If your show or activity is handled by an external programmer or by another department, just let us know and we will help you coordinate it.
External promoters
If you work with external promoters, you can manage their seats yourselves. You can also give the promoter's bank account number so that they receive the payments directly.
A link to your website
When you fill in your show's details on Apropa Cultura, remember to include a link to your own website so that users can find additional information.
Bookings and seat allocation
Block the seats in advance
Please reserve the seats granted to Apropa Cultura in advance, so that they are available when social centres send their request.
Payment confirmation
When a social centre uploads its proof of payment to the website, you will receive an email about it. Go to your personal dashboard and confirm the payment.
That way the centre knows everything is in order and its seats are confirmed.
Tips for allocating the most suitable seats
Think about the needs of the groups that are part of Apropa Cultura when you allocate the seats.
Accessibility – Each group will tell you its needs when requesting the tickets. Bear that in mind when placing the group inside the hall.
Inclusion – If several groups attend the same hall, try not to seat them together. Our priority is that they feel included.
Confidentiality – Keeping the situation of the people who attend your show through Apropa Cultura confidential is essential. Do not write the name of the group they belong to on the ticket envelope or on the tickets themselves.
Offer reduced-rate seats as well
Consider also offering reduced-rate seats to entities working in health and chronic illness, associations of relatives of people with disabilities...
The recommended price for these tickets is a maximum of 10 euros, and always equal to or below 50% of the public sale price.
Example:
If a ticket costs 24€, the price will be between 0 and 10€
If a ticket costs 12€, the price will be between 0 and 6€
After the activity
Tell us about any incidents
If any kind of incident happens during the activity, let us know. The aim is to understand what happened and to prevent it from happening again.
Feedback surveys
After every activity, social centres receive a feedback survey.
Read them carefully to find out how they experienced the activity and to spot room for improvement.
Make the most of social media
Share your participation in Apropa Cultura on social media.
The world should know how involved you are!
