FACE TO FACE

What is really a face? We all have one, but we have never been able to see it directly with our own eyes. We have seen it through a mirror, a photograph, a video ... We believe that a face needs the gaze of another face to become precisely this, the “image of us”.

We are aware of who we are thanks to the help of the other, of the people who observe us, and we create an identity, a face, that goes beyond our appearance. We configure an image linked to memories and the symbolic universe of each one, which not only speaks of our life experience but also of our way of seeing and living the world.

We invite you to come to the Fundació Suñol and trace a path between faces and looks. We will talk about how people's identities are built, including our own. The faces and crowds of the exhibition will act as a mirror and guide us on this journey.
