CANTÀNIA 2023: THE DOORS OF THE WORLD

Cantania is a participatory activity involving Catalan primary school children between 8 and 12 years old. Every year a new work is commissioned especially for the activity. To date, the commissions have gone to renowned Catalan composers and writers.

In 2022-2023 Cantania is celebrating its 34th anniversary.

Didactic Materials

ONCE collaborates with the CANTÀNIA 2023: THE DOORS OF THE WORLD project with the transcription of the cantata's lyrics and the score of the song "La crida de les cosas" in Braille literacy code. Educational centers that wish to use these materials in the classroom can contact the ONCE Barcelona Educational Resources Center (crebarcelona@once.es) to request this transcribed material.

The professional music specialists of the Shared Educational Service Department of Education – ONCE will collaborate in person in the 2nd training sessions of the CANTÀNIA 2023 project for the educational community.
