Who is Apropa Cultura for?
We reach people in vulnerable situations through social entities and services
Apropa Cultura is a website where social action professionals can buy tickets for shows and exhibitions to organise cultural outings with the people you support. You will enjoy the regular programming of the main theatres, concert halls, museums and festivals.
You can take part in Apropa Cultura if you meet the following conditions:
- You are a legally constituted social service or entity (social centre, foundation, association, town council...).
- You work supporting people in vulnerable situations or within the field of disability.
- You work in the field of prevention or direct intervention.
- You receive some grant or support from a public or private entity with a social purpose.
- You commit to meeting the conditions of the programme.
Apropa Cultura is not aimed at:
- Special education schools, as they can benefit from the educational offer of the Department of Education. Only AIS, TVA and PFI groups can take part in the programme.
- Community centres, civic centres, associations or leisure centres for older people. Only older people in situations of vulnerability or isolation in residences or day centres.
- Social spaces, neighbourhood centres.
- Parent associations (AMPAS and AFAS) that do not belong to special education schools.
- Neighbourhood associations.
- Adult Education Centres can only participate with instrumental training studies within basic education.
Apropa Cultura is art, theatre, dance, music...
An extraordinary cultural offer aimed at centres, social services and entities that work with people and groups in vulnerable situations.
Apropa Cultura is aimed at social centres or entities that support people in vulnerable situations within various groups:
- People with intellectual disabilities: occupational centres, occupational therapy services, residences...
- People with social difficulties arising from mental illness: day centres, social clubs, community rehabilitation services...
- People with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- People with physical, organic, hearing or visual disabilities in vulnerable situations.
- Older people: residences, day centres, programmes to combat isolation, social inclusion programmes...
- People with addictions.
- People deprived of liberty.
- Migrants, refugees and people from ethnic minorities.
- People from the LGBTI community in vulnerable situations.
- Children and adolescents: residential care and open centres...
- Women: gender-based violence and vulnerability.
- People experiencing homelessness.
- People at risk of social exclusion: reception centres, social service centres...
And also to:
- Entities in the field of health.
- Family associations linked to syndromes or illnesses.
Once you have registered in the programme (*), we will assign you a rate based on the characteristics of your centre. Check the programme rates.
(*) The person who registers with Apropa Cultura as a leisure coordinator must have a corporate email (not personal), since this programme is only aimed at social entities.
Are you a person with a legally recognised disability but not part of any association or service?
Remember that you can enjoy the benefits linked to the disability accreditation card of the Department of Employment, Social Affairs and Families.
